Visting Kyoto Ohara Area II

When you visit Ohara Area, enjoy the scenery of countryside of Japan. You will find rice or vegetable fields. Small Jizo statues welcome you.

As I mentioned about Sanzenin in the previous article. Besides the great temple, you can visit smaller temples which have the magnificent Japanese garden. My favorite is Housenin Temple. Their garden is like a piece of painting. Their pine tree is more than 700 years old. The temple is small, but a lot of things to see. Take your time in the quiet room facing to the Japanese garden. You will have a chance to look into your mind. You may find a reason why you are visiting Japan, and meeting new people in the far east.
